MV Doulos is coming to GTPJ tomorrow morning

Since there's such a big interest in the MV Doulos at Port Klang and since so many refferals point to my Blog, I thought it should be good to let you guys know that a Four Team Member of the MV Doulos will be coming to our church, Glad Tidings PJ, tomorrow to minister in our Youth Church. Tomorrow in GTYC, we have two secondary cell combining to bring us an awesome time of Worship. The SS19A & SS19B cells are putting their team up on Worship! Can't wait to see them tomorrow. Heard they have a 20 voice choir too and they are doing THE TIME HAS COME from United We Stand's album!! So Awesome!!

Arabs love my Zidane Blog!!! Amazing!

For those of you who visit our Blog once in a while, you gotta be as surprised as me!!!

I was just checking my BlogStats for this Blog, and was so totally amazed at the number of Arab websites that are having referal links to my Blog. And they are all coming to watch my Zidane's Post! (By the way i didnt create those animation, check the comments to see the original site)

But but but…. yeah …i know its funny … but why all the sudden interest in Zidane. My peak number of traffic on 24 July hit 600+ in a day, and out of that 400+ were for Zidane!! I just find it so so so funny!!

So you can see lah from the above Statistics where the interest of the world lies. Zidane head butting!!! hahahaha.

Was pretty curious tooooo to see how many people would actually check out yesterday's post about the Protest at KLCC but, again Zidane tops the number of hits in the Blog! I am just so so so amazed!!

Another big hit thus far in our Blog is the MV Doulos at Port Klang, we have so many people going to that post ….. versus the more recent Posting about 12,000+ at Doulos. Amazing again!

But then again, We are totally new to Blogging, so still trying to understand why people search for funny things that we write about in our Blogs! If you see the decription of my Blog… we're "Attempting to Blog!!" hehehe!

But before i say good nite … just wanted to say a Big Thanks to Nick who has helped me in the initial set up, and the constant day to day … err how to do this ah, why must i claim my blog? What in the world is auto ping? And why Petaling Street and Blog have in common? Why is it so Delicious? I mean what's Technorati got to do with it, and the best part is Nick patiently teaches me. So .. if any of u got any question… go visit Nick's Blog and ask him for help! Tks Nick!

Sayonara ….. Or ..whoops how do i say Good Nite in Arabic? Anyway … Nitey Nites … and I will monitor the Blog Stats for the next few days…. Hmmm… i wonder if Zidane will still be TOPS!! Nites!!

Pray for Lina Joy

There's a SMS floating around to request people to Pray for Lina Joy.

The SMS says:

The ruling of Lina Joy case is out tomorrow. The Muslims are prepared to go nuts if she wins cuz there are 25,000 Muslims who wants to leave Islam. Lets pray that justice will be done tomorrow and a breakthrough will happen. Last Friday, there was a gathering of 10,000 people in KL mosque they are expecting double tomorrow. So lets get serious in prayer too. Send this  SMS to as many Christians as possible. Lets stand with Lina Joy. Pray!

We're not sure which part of the above message is true and which are just added in. But there's a call to Pray for Lina Joy. And let's pray that the Right Justice will Prevail in Malaysia.

Hmmm… the protest would look scarry if you didnt know what was happening

The 39th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting is happening at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KLCC. There’s a group of individuals who are just protesting …. hmm.

According to Malaysia Kini, its a peaceful protest, where the police have already given a permit for this protest to take place for a fixed period of time yesterday and today.  http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/54537

But i guess for foreigners coming to our country, they may be shocked or scared to see all these people standing around, waving flags, shouting into megaphones. Yeah .. it may leave a bad impression of our peaceful and united Muhibbah nation. sigh!!!!!

[Err they even have a banner that says "Zionist Are Terrorists" ... amazingly it rhymes!]

Anyway, I hope this doesn’t slow or bring down the many many toursits that are now coming to our country … esp during the festive Summer month and the Mega Sale!!

It just describes the beauty, the wonder of our Matchless King!

Smashed and broke Brian’s racquet!!!

First of all, only four of us turned up last nite for Badminton. So u can imagine how tired we are. Ps Ray, Alex, Brian and moi. We played 6 sets non stop! Really tiring but good fun!

During the fourth or fifth set, i partnered Brian and we were going for the same shot … which was actually right in between us.

He was ready to SMASH, and so happened i also ran in and also attempted to hit the shuttle. Knowing Brian and his power smashes, he smashed my racquet, and due to the “power” of intertia – his racquet pushed my racquet and it hit the shuttle over the net (we won that point!!!) , but due to the power of his smash… which was so POWERFUL that when it impact hit my racquet, it broke his own racquet.

Poooooooor Brian … he took it really calm, he immediately walked off to his bag, picked up an identitical racquet and just continued on with the game.

I was like sorry ah .. sorry ah … sorry ah. He gave his smile and just played on!!

MOlympics – Mandarin Oriental Annual Dinner

 

We had a blast last nite at the MOlympics, our hotel’s annual dinner for the colleagues. It was simply brillant and totally enjoyable. We were laughing so much till our faces ached.

  

First of all, our Department – Sales & Marketing has always pull off a stunt, either vying for the Best Dressed department or the Best Performance by Department. This year, we headed off on an interesting theme to have a Sumo Fight … it was so cute to have a Male Sumo and a Female Sumo wrestler on stage. It started of with a Geisha Dance, Sumo Wrestling and the rest of the team doing the Para Para dance! Farnie!!

Rest of the nite it was really fun we had DEE (former Jangan Ketawa) as our Emcee. He err.. she … was absolutely funny and witty.

On an overall.. the nite was totally entertaining and simply enjoyable.
